A Warm Welcome...

Thank you for visiting Happy Hounds – one of East Yorkshire’s finest luxury dog boarding, day-care and grooming businesses based in the beautiful historic market town of Beverley.

Established in 2015, we are a small independent family run business whose kennel facilities were created to offer the discerning pet owner a unique ‘boutique style’ boarding service that exemplifies what we ourselves want for our own best friends.

We provide our distinguished doggy guests with modern purpose designed and built accommodation and outstanding facilities that are suitable for dog breeds of all sizes, age and temperaments and our team of qualified pet care professionals will ensure a loving, safe and enriching environment - making sure that your dogs stay is a happy one.

Animal wellbeing is our passion – so in addition to details about our dog boarding and grooming services you will also find a range of useful information on our website designed to help you maintain the overall health and wellbeing of your dog. From top grooming tips that include the importance of managing the condition of you dog’s coat, to guidance around diet and preventative health care advice about dealing with pesky parasites ... plus there's invaluable information about emergency dog first aid.

Our reception opening times for drop off and collection are: Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10am & again from 4pm to 6pm. Sunday's we're open from 10am to 12 noon.

Before you book - come and take a look around...

We actively encourage customer viewings to give you the opportunity to take a good look around our first class facilities and meet the team who will be taking care of your dog. Site tours are the perfect opportunity to ask any questions and discuss any specific needs that your dog may have - after all, just like humans, our canine friends are all different in their own special way and we pride ourselves in offering personal loving care, when you're not there.

Viewings take place on a Saturday and Sunday between 12 noon and 2pm and whilst specific appointments are not necessary, it's advisable to phone ahead to let us know that you're coming, as we can get really busy with customer tours and we may need to manage the number of people on site at any one time.

If you would prefer to telephone or send us an email to discuss your enquiry in more detail, you can call (or text) us on 07711 861 937, or email us at; info@happyhounds-beverley.co.uk. Alternatively, you can message us through FACEBOOK or complete the Booking section of this website and we'll get back to you. We try to respond to all enquiries within 48 hrs of receiving them.

And finally... whilst we are really proud of service and facilities, don't just take our word for it, please take a look at our customer reviews on the testimonials page, plus in January 2024, and for the fourth consecutive year, we've been independently recognised as one of the top 3 boarding kennels in East Riding by the online business search directory; Three Best Rated for providing a consistent high quality service.

We look forward to being of service.

For information and guidance…Did you know that approximately 1.5% of ticks in the UK carry the bacteria (Borrelia) that causes Lyme disease? 😮

If your pet is bitten by an infected tick that then stays on them for several hours to feed, the borrelia bacteria will start to multiply in the skin around the bite site. This then spreads throughout their body affecting their joints and organs such as the kidneys, heart, and nervous system 😟

Lyme disease tends to cause a variety of vague symptoms, which vary from pet to pet depending on where the bacteria spread. Although Lyme disease is very rare in cats, if it does occur, symptoms tend to be very mild, and sometimes not even noticeable ⚠️
